Hi Guys,

I have a scenario in which i am already using BSNL Broadband connection which is connected through a Wireless Modem having 4-5 Ethernet ports. There are other 4 computers connected to the modem via ethernet ports & hence can access the internet.

Since, the BSNL connection is getting frequently disconnected every now and then because of their poor service, i have connected a USB Reliance Netconnect (Broadband @ 3.1 Mbps) modem in the USB port and have installed the Dial-up application & drivers on 1 system. Now, i can only access internet in the computer in which i have inserted the Reliance USB modem.

My question is:
1. How do i configure my Reliance Broadband connection so that intenet can be available on LAN by default to all the computers?

2. Can both the internet connections be active at the same time on this LAN?

3. If i want to use only Reliance Broadband then, how do i disable this BSNL Broadband as i am using that modem as a LAN?

Thanks & Regards,
Kaushal

Configuration: Win XP Pro SP3, IE8, Firefox 3.5

Hello Kaushal,

This type of connection (USB Reliance Netconnect (Broadband @ 3.1 Mbps) modem) can be used only on a single pc,

You will just have to replace the BSNL Broadband modem to a new one if you are having problems with it

Thanks
