Ipod not detecting in my PCClosed

Question

Hello,
I tried connecting my iPod to my PC, its not detecting in the PC neither in iTunes. Can u pls let me knw how i can do?? Actually it was gifted to me when i was working for my previous company. It does not look like the present iPods, much like a rectangle with curved edges.

Hello there,

To solve this problem just reset the IPOD:

Reset your ipod by turning the hold button on and off, until the ipod turns off. 

If that doesnt work then try to reinstall your itunes. and your last resort is to restore your ipod which should be your last resort because you will loss everything on your ipod.
