Not able to connect my samsung GT-S5233A

Hello,
i have purchased a samsung star touch phone model GT-S5233A recently but i am not able to connect to internet from my pc
i am using bsnl network and have successfully installed all the settings which my network service provider has provided
but still i am not able to connect to internet through my phone
so can you plz suggest what else has to be done so that i will be able to freely surf to internet.......

This didn't work for me. The PC Suite page at samsung's website doesn't have a link to a version for the b2100, I've tried 2 different versions so far and both time out when connecting via bluetooth. It turns out that you need to use the correct version, or you can't connect.

However, I did find that if you go to samsung's website, search for the phone's model number, there's a link to a version of "new pc stuidio" from April 2009 right at the bottom of the screen (the top link is broken, searching for software by phone doesn't work either)

This one works fine with the B2100 Solid.

Hey

In responses to your entry, I must say not many network providers know how to work the new tech of cell phones. If you follow the step for step guide I am about to give you, you will defently get connected.

1st I would like you to uninstal your PC Samsung studio and any other or out dated versions. Then reinstal The NEW SAMSUNG PC Studio. Please first instal the PC Studio Installer and then the USb driver.

Once that is done you should see a NEW Samsung pc studio icon next to the time on the bottom right on your computer please right click it and untick Open new samsung pc studio atuomaticly. Now please connect your GT-S5233A.

Once you have done that you go to Start->Control Panel->Phone and Modem option->Click MODEMS and then sellect the availbale modem which is your cell phone. Goto advanve and enter the extra intilization commands which would normaly be AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","Internet" please call your network providers TECH to get the code cause the Internet is is replaced by your networks data name for example Virgin Mobile would be AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","vdata" Another thing for faster internet in modem properties go to click on modem and set themax speed to 115200

Now when you go to start and you go to internet connections to set up a new connection it is advised you do this part threw your network provider. please rember when you are finshed
