POWER SAVING MODE

Hello, I have a LG Flatron W2042T screen. When I switch on my computer the screen comes up with "digital power saving mode" power light is blue and then turns orange and screen goes blank. If I press space bar or any other key nothing happens. If I keep restarting my computer a number of times eventually windows appears and can work. But now after restarting a couple of times nothing happens. Please advise what could be the problem. Thanks

Sounds like my monitor.. I don't think the problem lies in your computer.. it has to do with the monitor detecting the signal from the computer.. If it's like my monitor you can turn off the monitor from the back, with the switch and turn it back on.. Should detect it..

Also do you have other devices that are running and plugged into this too?
