Lcd monitor problem

Hello,
i am rakib.recently i bought a laptpo.asus-F80Q.but suddenly i noticed a vertical blue color line in my lcd monitor.
what's this problem and why create this and how can i solve this....pls suggest me..

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.13

Does this happen all the time.. Or only when you do certain things?

If it's all the time.. I would return the labtop and exchange for a different one.

Hello Rakid,
I also bought the F80Q and experiencing the same problem like you. My laptop has warranty but I didnt take my laptop to asus service centre. Have u solve this problem? Have u taken your lapotp to the asus service centre? Please let me know.

I bought the laptop (Asus F80Q) just 3 months back and now it gives me blinking horizontal line at the bottom of screen each time the computer starts and disappear few minutes later. i use ubuntu 9.04. this line appears even before the OS boots up. it appears in BIOS set up screen too.

i am not sure whether this is a LCD problem or VGA problem and what to do for it.
