Hello,
Im trying to transfer music files from a friends harddrive to my own, but his harddrive is formatted to mac and mine is a pc. when I tried, no icon popped up, so I assigned it a drive number and reformatted it. It worked, but it erased all files. So, now I have the icon and brought it back to my friends house to put the music back on but he cant transfer files anymore(same problem I had with mine when I brought my own harddrive originally). He may have to format it back to his mac but will I be able to get the files off of it onto my computer? How do you transfer mac files to a pc? I really want this rather extensive music project but it would take weeks and hundreds of cds to just burn them all. Help!!!

Configuration: Mac OS X
Firefox 3.5.2

Hello Sir,

This is quite normal,

To be able to use it on a mac computer you should format using the mac file system which won't work on the windows system

So you should use it only on a mac computer or Windows

Not the 2 at the same time

Thanks
