| 1 lucky, on Jul 15, 2008 6:52:05 am BSTDear mayur,
To get connceted with BSN bradband on LAN, you must create one as server by connecting it via USB and other computers will be client as they will be connected via the ethernet card. If u use ethernet for BSNL conn then u can get conn for only one user so go for USB modem conn n u ll get connection on other computers.

I want to connect one more system to my system. I have tried with assigning ip addresses to computer #1 192.168.1.1 and computer #2 192.168.1.2. I have checked the connectivity and they r perfect, but the problem is I am not able to access the internet on computer #2, still getting "page cannot be displayed" even after successful connectivity and also given same workgroup to both systems. Reply to Shaik | 10 Fredy, on Nov 10, 2008 9:54:21 am GMTIn your system 2, place the settings as 'Assign Ip address automatically'.
Don't forget to share in the broadband connection in system 1. Reply to Fredy |

I have the same doubt, I want to use Wi-Fi on my laptop and the physical BSNL Broadband internet connection on my PC at the same time by connecting the modem to a wireless router which will be connected to my PC (my PC does not have the provision to access a Wi Fi connection). Can I do this without installing another LAN card or Wi Fi card the CPU of my PC? How should I change my connection settings to accommodate for such an arrangement?
Thanks Reply to Kavya12 |
