Transcend 16gb pendrive it is writeprotected

sir, i have problem with my transcend 16gb pendrive is protected what is the solution for this cause please.

hi there,

use these steps and remove write protection:

Get into the Registry - Press Start -> Run, enter regedit, press Ok

. Click on My Computer.

Then press File -> Export, give some file name to backup the registry.

Just incase you ever need to rollback.

. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/StorageDevicePolicies

. In the right pane select "writeprotect"

. RESET the value to '0'

What if you don't have something called "StorageDevicePolicies". I only got something called Storage

Yeah, what happens if we only have Storage and not StorageDevicePolicies?
