Cannot read .wmv files on MAC running 10.4.11

Hello,
I get all these emails with docs that have a .wmv extension and my Mac cannot read it all I get is jibberish on the screen. I need to download something that will allow the Mac to read the file. Thanks for any help.

Configuration: Mac OS X
Firefox 3.0.3

Hello Sir,

To open all kind of video formats on your mac please use the VLC for mac

Download it here and then install:

http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html

Now you will be able all sort of video format

Or install Flip4Mac WMV so quicktime can read the .wmv format.
