How to change a socket on a HP laptop?

Hello,
I need to change the socket on my laptop and I would like to do it myself. its a HP Pavillion dv4000. where can I buy the parts?? what parts do I need?? what tools do I need?

I'd really apprecciate any help I can get

Socket ??

I assume you have a problem with plugging in the power cord. I would take it to a repair shop since this type replacement requires disassembly of the laptop and disoldering the power socket from the motherboard.

It's not really a DIY (do it yourself) project. If you must try it - Ebay might be the best source of parts.
