Converting aup file to cd formate

Hello, I tried to transfer cassete to cd. I used Audacity program and export the file as wav file. I burnt it to cd, but could not hear it on cd player. I can play it from the cd only on the computer (Mac Os 10.5). I understand that I need an extra convertor. Do you can instruct me what to do. Thanks
