Hello,
I am trying to downgrade a Gateway M-6841 laptop from Vista to XP. I've heard that you have to load the XP driver for the SATA drive which is a WDC WD2500BEVS-22UST0 ATA. I have looked every where for drivers, and haven't had any luck. Does anyone know where I can get an XP driver for this SATA drive.
Any help would be great!

Configuration: Vista to Windows XP
Internet Explorer 7.0

You need a driver for the SATA controller in your laptop. The model of hard disc is irrelevant.

You can find it here:

Good luck.
