Hello,
My computer say's "You may be a victim of software counterfeiting." How do I uninstall Genuine Microsoft? I can't get on the internet without giving myself a headache first , use windows media player, my screen saver keeps disappering and all I'm left with is a black screen. Every time I try to find out what's going on or what's happening it bumps me off so I can't get on the internet. The only solution I found is to shell out $180 bucks that just doesn't exsist. PLEASE, tell me how to get this off so I don't have to sell a kidney!!!

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 8.0

Hi there,

this error usually shows when your windows operating system is not genuine.

you can download a windows validation crack/removal from the net,

then log in through safe mode and install the crack to remove the error message.

but the best option is to reinstall your windows with a genuine or original cd

Thanks

U can try this :

Open the Task Manager with Ctrl + Alt + Del
Turn off the process called "wgatray.exe"
Restart / reboot the computer and go into safe mode
In the safe mode, open the registry editor going through the menu Run regedit. Type regedit and then enter
In the regedit, find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ WindowsNT \ CurrentVersion \ Winlogon \ Notify and delete the folder / directory "WGALOGON"
Restart the computer again as usual ...
