I keep accidentley zooming in and out. How can I set zoom to 100% This is driving me mad

When I am doing anything on my comp. the zoom level keeps changing. I think it is to do with where or how I am touching the multi-gesture touchpad. I have to reset the zoom by using the button in the bottom rt corner in explorer. How can I stop this from happening. I note on other sites that most people think this is a usefull addition to vista but I can't get on with it
