Hello,
My brother system restored my computer a few days ago, and suddenly, it started to delete all my files on my desktop everytime I turned it off or I rebooted it.

I've tried using system recovery, but F8 has absolutely no effect on startup.

I do NOT have deep freeze,I've made sure of that.

Could you tell me how to fix the computer or at least how to do a system restore?

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.10

Tried that. My computer doesn't have system restore or system recovery in the start menu.

Is it possible to boot up system restore/ recovery from the setup menu at startup?
