Hello,

This has been going on for 3 days, every time I click on a box to open up a window whether it be espn, or my real estate website, it shows this is in the technical data and first shows "internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close.
AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 8.0.6001.18702 ModName: msneie.dll
ModVer: 3.0.1125.0 Offset: 000220d4

I have ran my anti-virus and nothing has shown up, plus I reinstalled Java as well and nothing!

Any suggestions,

Thanks,

-mikeb

Hi Mike B,

This is from an MSN application, either game or toolbar. First go to search and type in msneie.dll and do a file search. Once you know where the file is you should delete that program. I had this same file due to the toolbar and have successfully removed it and the issue. To remove the application that is infected with this .dll go to the start, click run, type appwiz.cpl and go to the application and click remove. I did delete IE 8 as it was causing problems for me on XP so I went back to 7.

Best of luck,
Ralphie
