Hello,
My greetings......
I have a hp pavilion dv 2700 laptop.I have recently imported it from America.
I have been observing from a couple of weeks that my pc is getting overheated. Moreover, warranty period for
my PC has expired.Even the keyboard is getting heated.
While I started surfing on yhe net for resolving this problem,I found many pf the guys saying that they are having multiple displays or their screen is getting blank.I fear for facing those problems.
As I am a student, I cannot afford for costly repairs.Even though my pc is getting too hot,I still donot have the problems of multiple displays or some others.
I would be really grateful to anyone who helps me in solving out this problem.
I am sure you would kindly spare your valuable time for me.....
THANK YOU...!

Configuration: Windows vista
Firefox 3.0.8

Hi there,

Here are two simple strategies you can use to keep your laptop cool.

batteries produce heat while they're charging,

so remove them from the unit when possible.

And try placing your laptop on a hard surface rather than directly on your lap.

This will let the air circulate under the computer,

cooling it more efficiently.

Thanks

Well your fear has actually happened to me LAST WEEK after i BOUGHT a new game that my desktop cant play but my laptop played w/o any lag at all...outside of server lag...i have the black screen sometimes...i have multiple displays...cant get outa blue screen/system repair no matter what i have tried

but yeah best solution in my opinion would be to keep a fan...not a laptop fan...blowing on it at all times if possible and to periodically use a can of air and blow into the fans vent once a month...best if you have 2 or more cans when one gets to cold and starts to blow water or just wont blow well

Dell Has not this problem.

I have one Dell and one HP laptop. My HP Laptop is getting over hitted in both case if running on battery or on cable.

Dell has not this problem. But dell has battery draining problem. Dell's battery last for 1 year only.
