i have this problem when i try to play Call of Duty 4 mulitplayer PC.
The map will often load to 1oo%, and just before i get all the sounds and the scoreboard screen of the match, i get a black screen instead saying: "Notice: Server Disconnected".Complete BS. pardon me.
Usually, i have to try getting into the same server again and again.On average, it takes about 3 times just to get into a server.
also, it happens fairly regularly on other servers too, so i might try one server, it fails, so i try another,and it fails also.
this is really really annoying and frustrating.
doesnt end there either.
when i finally get into a server, when it finishes and i get the scorebroad, when it loads the new map, its the same problem again.
i updated to 1.7 a fortnight ago, but this problem was still prevalent even before i updated to 1.6 and 1.7.
please help, as i want to play but just about every server disconnects. :(

Hey, im Razha and i got the exact same problem. Takes a few tries to get into the server, as if it has to be 'used' to load the current map, and when it changes you disconnect and have to retry connection again, however once inside it runs smoothly enough.

Hey guys i get the same problem but when you are in the black screen where it says ''Server Disconnected'' drop down the command tab by using the ~ key (just above tab key) and type /reconnect it works for me so the first time i join its always a bit laggy when loading the map and when i reconnect the map loads in seconds..

Hi, the most likely cause of this problem (infact its the only know cause) is that your pc is not fast enough. you are taking to long, the server automatically times you out, you but you don't find that out until you have finished loading. the only solution to this is to upgrade to RAM, you need at least 1 gig preferably 2. |
