Can't play online in C.O.D 4

Hello, when i try to play cod 4 Online it says "window did not close propoley last time it ran do you waant to run on safe mode?" then when i click yes or no it loads the it goes back to the desktop and says "a problem caused the program to stop working, window will notify you when a solution is availiable" hhow do i make it work again so i can play online again?

Configuration: Windows Vista
Internet Explorer 7.0

I can't play a video file. What's wrong? ShowYou probably need codecs. The one I use is called the K-Lite Codec Pack which includes a nice bunch of codecs. You might also want to try VLC Media Player which features a host of codecs built-in.

THE same thing happens to me and i never play it online yet but iv downloaded all the patches for internode ( a very trusted site ) and it still say what yours is saying

Mine did the same thing plug up a mic or headphones in the back of ur pc in the mic plug

Same problem here. cpu details. mother board AUSUS P5NSLI. nvidia Ge force 7900 GS. intel dual core processor. 2.0 GB ram. 111 GB hard drive 69.5 GB free. vista OS. explorer 7.0. message i get is "iw3mp.exe has stopped working" any ideas? have you gotten yours to work yet?

Well thats not my problem but i cant play online ether theres no server and i cant creat a class the creat class is in dull letters

Another thread said that the servers are down. No explaination. Source of info is ......well, you know.
My notebook is in the shop and this is a new desktop. Im glad to hear that I am not the only one experiencing this problem. =) Your bad news is good for me.

It is because your program has been loaded on wrong or you pc. what you should do is uninstall it and reload it and make sure to mark every thing right. also if that dose not work then you probobly just need a new cd drive because that is what happens when you have a shotty cd drive.

I GOT THE ANSWER OF SOLVING THE NOT WORKING THING !!!!!! YOU NEED A HEAD SET WITH MIC THEN IT WILL WORKS !!! AND ABOUT THE NO SERVER!! ITS JUST REFRESHING LIST IN THE RIGHT UP CORNER

Mine starts online and when i pick any server ti says"key code in use try to reconnect later" i would apriciate any help!!!!!

Its true. i had the same problem and i just plugged a bose mobile headset into my mic jack and it worked
