Google PDAnet it is a very easy to use application and it is free. You need to download to your phone and computer. Must use usb cable however this keeps your phone charged while surfing the web.

Ok I've downloaded PDAnet and it works alright using my G1 as a modem. However, my concern is if you get charged extra for data being used on the computer, other than what I'm already paying for the 34.99 bundle (which includes internet) on the phone itself?
