Change file name (extension

Hello,

I have a folder with tens of thousands of ".html" files.
I'm looking for a script that would give me the same result as if i right-clicked on every file, clicked on "rename", and then changed the ".html" to ".txt"
(i want to import them all into filemaker pro, but it will only import if it has a .txt extension, and won't import it, if it ends in ".html")

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

I know this is an old post so you may already have found a solution.

Quick Answer:
Go into a cmd line and rename all files with an html to a txt extension

Detailed Answer:
Go to start run, and type cmd and press enter.
Now cd to the path you're looking for and type the following(excluding the quotation marks).
"RENAME *.html *.txt"
