Hello,
Has anyone experienced a problem with their Icons for Favorites changing on their own? For example, I may have a Fav for CNN, and instead of displaying the CNN logo, it will one day show the Icon for Google. When I click on the Fav to open CNN, it will open CNN and display the Google Icon at the top of the IE tab. I use IE - version 7.

I thought it was rearranging Icons from my Favs list. However, it sometimes pulls an Icon from a site that I've used in the past that is not even on my Favs List.

Any help in this regard will be appreciated.

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

Try deleting your temporary internet files and cache etc:

Tools > Internet Options > Delete

and delete all the files in there.

If that doesn't work, then perhaps let http://www.fixedlikemagic.com look at it

Hi, I should have mentioned that I pretty regularly delete temp/Internet files and memory cache and it doesn't help. I even go into Norton 360 to clean things up.

As for the above link, I would rather avoid a third party this early in the diagnosis. I have to believe this is caused by something simple and perhas stupid. I was just wondering if anyone else had the issue and found that simple solution.

Thanks!
