Hello,
My laptop was working fine but I needed to use some PC Accounting Software. So hooked up an external 500GB hard drive, installed Virtual PC on it, and loaded up my PC software (QuickBooks). QB is now running off of Virtual PC off the external drive.
Now, my Mac OS system is having problems. Excel is acting very strange and extremely bug-y. Every other minute it won't let me type in a cell (I have to repeatedly type in the cell for the text to be accepted), and then randomly my entire computer suddenly reboots and I get the blue screen of death. The computer does successfully reboot but only after the entire restarts itself.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? I have a small business and Excel is the main program I use. For it now to be so "gimpy" and unreliable. It’s causing me a lot of problems. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0
