I have an old Mac Classic that I haven't started for a number of years, like 2, it was working the last time I started it. Now 2 years later it won't start, I get a screen with black and white lines, and it won't go past this. Years ago I remember that I was having this problem, but only once in awhile, then I would unplug it for awhile then it would start with no problems. Now nothing

Based on experience I'd say that's caused by faulty hardware. I couldn't tell you exactly what part is causing this but it's likely that it can't be replaced because it's something on the motherboard. |
