Power Supply Failed

Hello,


Today when I tried to turn on my comp it wouldn’t power on...
I had plugged into a surge protector while the surge protector was on (I didn’t know)and saw a small spark like a week ago put haven’t turned it on since... and today when I tried to turn it on it wouldn’t power on

I checked the manual power switch and the voltage which was fine then i unplugged the hard drive and DVD+rw drive.... still nothing, then i unplugged the pci-e card... still nothing
I have another atx case with a power supply, should i try that psu? Im not sure the watts though..
Anyone know what it might be?

AMD 64 3700+ CPU
160GB SATA Hard Drive
2 GB DDR 400 (just upgraded from 1 GB)
NVIDIA XFX 8600 GT 256
Toshiba DVD Burner
FoxConn 6150BK8MC MotherBoard
X-QPACK case with 420 watts

hello

No fans turning either? That does sound like a power supply.
If the other PSU is smaller try the computer without any drives powered and I think you have integrated graphics on that board. If so, remove the PCIe card and try the onboard. Remove all but one stick of RAM.
