Hello,
MY SAMSUNG SH-S182 DVD WRITER EJECTS AUTOMATICALLY AFTER SWITCH ON THE CPU BUT IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO GET THE TRAY IN BY PRESSING SWITCH. i CHECKED THE SWITH FUNCTION ,IT IS WORKING WELL.

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

Hello Sir,

Just check if the faceplates on the tray and the drive are seated properly. They may even appear to look ok but it doesn't take much.

Or there must a mechanical problem inside

Or you will have to purchase another Burner
