Hello,

Just gave up an hour and a half of my life to Linksys and Cisco phone support, to be told that due to recent Windows and IE security updates, my Vista machine will no longer connect to the WRV200 router (had no problem 2 weeks ago). Firefox also can not connect to router; yes I am cabled directly form laptop to router, with wireless connection disabled and can ping the router no problem. All internet and networking behavior is normal. Just can't log in to it to check/upgrade firmware.
The technician suggested that I roll back my OS to XP and IE from 8 back to 7 but seriously this can not possibly the right answer?!?

Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 8.0

Hello Sir,

Sometimes when you update your system, it makes some other devices or utilities to become unstable,

Please try restoring your system like it was before,

Of i will advise you to just re-install your Network device driver

Thanks
