Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0
hey
I have 2 option for you. try both of them Option 1. Hide the Column and then protect the sheet with a password. Option 2. Copy visible cells only, and paste it into a new sheet. Edit --> GoTo --> Special --> Visible Cells Only |
The first is no real protection (in excel 2003 anyhow): Simply cut out a range of cells including the "protected" cells, paste them in a new workbook, and unhide them. Works without password. |
If your client doesn't need to change the data, you could always save it as a PDF before sending it, in which case the hidden columns would not show up for him. |
