Hello all !!

First, i signed in since 2/3hours ago and suddenly it sign out automatically... I've tried to sign in back again, but it says there an error or something like that... I type my password well and several times but still it doesn't want to open ...

My internet connection is good, i can open any website without any problem... So i don't understand why am deprived from chatting, especially that my other friends are not facing this problem because i phoned them and tell me that they are online...

arrgghh

Why should always these kind of silly things happened to me?!

Yeah mine does this too. no error report. they just stop. this has been going on for a few days now and i know its not my internet connection because im posting on this right now. iv'e uninstalled and re-installed a few times and still with the same problem. the only thing that has changed is after a couple times of not singing on a report came up that i had a trojan in my computer, i got rid of them all though. no idea whats going on

Try closing your messenger n reload again !! messenger normally gives you a troubleshoot option where you can repair ur mesenger conexion (ip,default gateway) try to clik on repair

I tried logging in from msn2go.com, but that didn't help either. this must be an internal error on server side. i reckon there is an issue with some of the accounts. our accounts.

Ok ok ok i have the same (your gateway is offline) and i can not log in for the last 7 months and im fed up of having to wait till im on holiday to be able to use another computer so i can log on

how do i unblock the gateway whatever it is

I ask the windows live staff (after 3 months of searching for them) and there reply was

"Everything is online and working it must be your firewall. if there is anything else please reply"

so i said back "I have actully turn off all virus spyware and firewall and all other software off and i still get eh same message. i have enabled them again now cause of safty"

Their reply back "Thank you for using our service, we would like you to provide feedback on the help you received by click on this link"

i clicked on it and it went to a website and said "if you can see this page you are connected to the internet. this means you can now access windows live services"

yet 4 months later, i still cant and the staff wont reply to any emails now

all you have to do is turn on firewall and then go

on excepitons and click add programs then click browes

then find windows messenger live

the reason that happen cuz i pressed restore
firewall

yer but im only 12yr old so try sumthing diffrent

I have the same problem and I am not impressed. I tried it at the office as well ... and I can't get in but my co-worker can with her addy. So I tried a new addy for myself and got in just fine. Still can't sign in with my old one and hate the thoughts of having to advise everyone that I've had to get a new address ... go through the process of doing the "contacts" thing again. Online help is a joke - you couldn't get an answer out of them if you paid them.

Hi my msn does it every so often i click trouble shoot n everything ticks so is press reapair and it sayus it is unabled to find what is rong i dont get it msn is a freak i hatee it some times. then once i tryed n it wouldnt even open the sign in page :@ i was not happy

SOLUTION
If you are using a ‘NETGEAR Wirelss Router’ you will need to enter tthe ‘Netgear’ router set-up settings page, via internet Explorer.

1.Enter IP address 192.168.0.1 on the address bar.
2.Log on via your user name and password of your ISP.
3. Enter Admin, password
4.GOTO advance menu (left hand side of screen)
5.GOTO WAN set-up
6.GOTO MTU size, and change to 1400
7.Apply, OK.

Im sorry but how the hell is that gonna help people sign in to there msn. Simple fact is that people can get on the net and surf but cant sign into msn and as im running off wireless i should know and just to prove a point im not only useing 2 computers through the same wireless rooter and useing a msn account thats 9years old that should tell you that its nothing to do with the IP or wireless rooter or usb adaptor. but if anyone dose have a problem with msn and still no luck then why dont you make a note of your IP address and call your internet provider and see if they can shed some light as it is a connection problem. also there is a repair thing that comes up to repair msn when it dont sign you in. and there are more ways then that to get msn to work like in internet opitions or network connections and repair the connection also deleting cookies. just a few things to think about before hand.

First check if you can log in from msn2go.com
sometimes msn doesn't log in some accounts. if you still can't log in from msn2go.com then there's nothing you can do but wait.
if you can log in from msn2go.com but not from your msn client, then you may try to do a few things to solve the problem.

restart the computer, check if internet explorer can access to the internet, if it can't, ask ie to detect proxy settings.
if you use a proxy program like ultra-surf, starting the ultra surf exe and closing helps.
i can't think of anything else atm, those are the things what i encounter and do to fix. hope it works for you too.

Try uninstalling your msn then installing it again, it worked for me. if it dies not work format your computer and install everything on your computer again, make sure you back up your photos and music etc first.

I have been using a proxy server to sign into msn, and all of a sudden it doesn't want to work for me anymore. When I try to sign in using a different e-mail it works, or if my colleagues try and sign in it will work for them from the same PC, just not my main e-mail address with all my contacts. It just keeps saying disconnected, or no contacts online wait a few seconds to reload the page, and then eventually disconnects. People are telling me that I am signing in and out, but, I can't see anyone, and if my list does load it's for a few seconds before disconnecting (usually disconnects when I attempt to send a message)

I understand that the server that hosts my specific account may be busy, but this problem has been persisting for a while.

Any suggestions?

I have just recently had my pc fixed .. I can get on any website that i want (within reason lol ) but when it comes to trying to download windows live messenger ther becomes a problem that i havent the slightest clue how to face !

and update the country or region of your Home, also the TIme zone.
*****Do not use any country or region included in the Unite States's BLACK LIST
no IRAN, AFGANISTAN, NORTH KOREA, etc ...

One day my computer just shut down on me i wonderd what was going on i had no clue .

my dad came home and told me it had to manny viruses so it went for repair

flash player and on msn troubleshoot when my internet is fine . These are utickend on the list IE's offline settings , WIERLESS . i dont get this why wont it let me sighn in after repair

i have already tried all the basics , controll panel security it doesnt work

on bebo i click contunie with this sight anyway

and i dont use you tube

and msn i have to use a replacment called MEBO or EBUDDY i miss msn :(

Change your windows installation i have the current windows xp with sp2 i am using now same problem just tried another one with sp3 no problem so can be windows making the trouble or you simply just have to update to the sp3
