Can't install adobe flash player 10

Hello,
i tried downloading the adobe flash player 10, but it wouldn't work. it would always work for the downloading process, but when it was done it would always say error installation. i tried downloading it for awhile now, every day for a month i tried downloading and it never worked. what should i do?! i really want it, but it just won't work!

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 8.0

http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/

Then to enable this addon

Go to Tools, Manage Addons,

Click on enable and disable addons

Are you serious? Where else do you think people get adobe. Of course we downloaded it from adobe.com. I have the same issue. I've tried the uninstall utility of adobe and shockwave. Neither have done any good. I've tried registry cleaners, everything you can think of other than a complete repair of windows.

How bout you help us out instead of giving some BS answer.
