At.exe application error

Hello,
Can anyone please tell me why do I get at.exe application error saying:

The application failed to initialize properly(0x0000142) . Click on OK to terminate the application.

I get this error very often in my PC and sometimes a series of these pop-ups irritates me and i have to click on OK continuosly 10 times. Thanks in advance guys....

Hi there.


try this;

click on Start>Run> then type msconfig
then another window opens up there go to tab Start up and then locate the file at.exe and uncheck the button in the starting of the same.

Goto-> RUN-> Regedit->HKEY_LOCAL_MEACHINE->SOFTWARE->MICROSOFT->WINDOWS NT->CURRENT VERSION->WINLOGON->in the reght side panel u can see the key SHELL -> in that key u if u see the two names (.exe) plz delete only the at.exe
