Hello Pals,
I have a Toshiba Satellite 2455-s305 notebook running WinXP Professional for almost 4 years now. two days ago I was trying to install Ubuntu 9.04 alongside my WinXp Professional SP2. However b4 I could get to the set up page it gave the error NTLDR missing press ctrl+alt+del to restart. Since then I can't boot into Windows. I made a ntldr reset disc but it won't boot from CD ( have a dvd rom drive). When I change the boot sequence in the BIOS to start booting from CD it reads PXE-E61:media test failure, check cable; PXE-MOF: Exiting PXE ROM NTLDR missing Press Ctrl+ALt+Del to restart.
When I choose to start from HDD first it jst reads NTLDR missing Press Ctrl+ALt+Del to restart.
It won't boot from Ubuntu Live cd, bootable wn Cd or ntldr bootable repair cd.
Pls help I dont know what else I can do
Configuration: Windows XP
