Restore my computer back to factory settings

Hello,
i want to restore my dell inspiron 530 back to factory state..I already tried the f8 key and it only restore the settings. i want to restore the entire computer back factory state.. How can I do that?

Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

Hi,

try to do a system restore:

>start

>all programs

>accessories

>system tools

>system restore.

select the first date on the calendar.
