Hello,
"Windows cannot find 'regsvr.exe'.Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for file, click the start button, and then click search", often appears on the desktop in shape of a small window. I tried to solve the said problem in the manner suggested therein. Any how or the other the file was searched with the help of a network associate and deleted the file. But the problem is still persisting. Kindly be kind enough to advise as to how the same can be solved without causing any further damage to my computer whatsoever.

Thanks.

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

Hello there,

To solve this problem you can try this:

click on Start>Run> then type msconfig
then another window opens up there goto tab Startup and then locate the file regsvr.exe and uncheck the button in the starting of the same.

Then Press ok restart the computer

Thanks
