Acer 5100 hdd password

Hello,

I've an Acer 5100. when I turned on my laptop, the acer logo pops up but it can't boot. After that, it gives me this error:

Bios V3.13

Error

Resource conflict_PCI in slot 03
Bus: 06, Device: 02, function: 00

And when i try to enter in the setup, it is asking for an HDD password. I tried my password i usualy use to log on my Vista system and it doesnt work.
I don't know what i can't do.

Configuration: Windows 2000
Firefox 3.0.11

Hi there,

go to bios settings and reset all to default

save and exit

then try rebooting your laptop
