How to fix my laptop internet connection,

Hello,
Hi so my laptop internet connection was working fine a few weeks back,
but then one day i turn it on, it wont work, i cant find a network connection?
I try diagnose and repair but it wont do anything. It cant find other peoples
connection or my brothers connection, BLUetooth is working and wireless connection
is working, but it jsut cant find any connection ? its been 2 weeks now and
im clueless in how to fix it.. . its kind of hard to do my work without an internet
so if anyone knows how? please please i need your help.
and im using vista btw. crappy vista. not even a year old yet. =(

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.11

Hi,

try to update the wireless driver.

this should fix the problem.

you will find the drivers in the official website of the company of the laptop maker.
