HP pavilion dv6810en vista downgrade to xp

Please help!
i have a HP pavilion dv6810en ,and i can't find an ethernet controler driver for xp

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 2.0.0.14

^^ thats the problem, every time i try to reformat ( Windows XP Pro) it does that. i dont now have any windows on the Hard drive. it is brand new. PLEASE HELP ME!

I Have problem after installation of the softbase info winxp 2007

1.problem is do not move the files from one location to another location

2.Installation problem of anti viruses there is an error i.e missing some files

3. System is very slow

I try to install windows xp in hp pavlion dv2000 series laptop but during installation it display a message that the os won't identify the hard disk.
I go to bios setup programe but sata native support feature is not available in setup programe.
please help me how to install windows xp in my hp laptop

I have got a HP pavilion laptop which is preloaded with Vista home premium. and also mine is 64 bit intel core2 duo processor...Please let me know whether loading of XP is possible and if yes pls tel me the steps and the driver details....

Bit of a long shot,but I'm trying to do the same on my hpdv9646em AMD version
downgrade to XP.
Do you have any info that I could use to do this please ?
I know there is a bit of a thread on the HP website,but its very hit & miss,also the drivers on there for
XP are minimal.
Any help or advice would be great,thanks in advance.

Hi can you email instructions on how to downgrade to XP? I get an error that claims my HD is corrupt or has a virus. It's brand new with Vista and I hate it. I havent even installed new stuff on it. It loads Vista just fine.

I figured out how to bypass the error. I went into Bios and set my sata to compatibility mode. Then the install went perfectly. getting all the drivers was another issue all together. I have all but one. It doesn't seem to be a needed one. I think its for the fax modem which i dont use.

Hi, sorry to bother you but my problem is the exactly the same as the above!
but with Vista installed on a Desktop, (I have two Desktops, One is ancient by today's standards !)
Can you tell me the answer PLEASE? I have lots of backup files I can't recover!

The network card will be inclusive in the nvidia video driver. it does the video, the lan, and the smbus
the cam is avail from hp, or softpedia, or compaq, they have a laptop thats the same, but they post the drivers...
