Wireless internet isn't working

so i've had the laptop for around 2 years now and internet worked fine but now out of nowhere the internet switch kinda isn't working. i put the switch on ON but it doesn't light up anymore, but whenever i restart or just turn the computer on after a shut down it seems to work but once i logg on to an account it turns off for some reason. Please help.Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

hi,

try to do a system restore:

>start

>all programs

>accessories

>system tools

>system restore

select a date when everything was working fine.

or try to update the wireless driver.
