Problem with Windows service pack 1

Hello my laptop got a problem and i formated it with and installed windows service pack 1 but my mouse pad is not working and my keyboard too with it boot up , it is strange because when i go to safe mode its work , what can be done to review this situation?

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0
