i need help restoring a dell inspiron 6400 to the factory reset to wipe everything and start over. any instructions would be apreciated. ty

Hi,

check if you have the restore CD, if yes insert it and follow the instructions.

or if you do not have it, try a system restore:

>start
>all programs
>accessories
>system tools
>system restore
