Formatting my laptop from vista to xp

Hello,
Am having problem formatting my lap top from vista to xp, pls kindly tell me how will i go about it, second am trying to install a driver for usb data edge modem to connect to net, but my laptop can find the driver. kindly assist me to furfill my desire.

Hello,

Normally, when you downgrade from vista to XP you will have to change the Sata mode on your bios!


Windows XP will be installed only in IDE mode!

To install your modem driver, you will need the Software CD

If you don't have it, i will advise you to search for the driver on the net
