5920 cd/dvd rom not working

Hello,
my cd/dvd rom on my acer 5920 laptop stopped working i tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers but to no avail windows says the device is working properly.i can hear the disk loading but nothing happens.just yesterday it worked fine can anyone help.

Configuration: Windows Vista
Firefox 3.0.11

Hello,

I just think that there's a problem with the drive!

I will advise you to get it fixed by a qualified technician!

Sometimes the lens get this problem or when a burning process is failed
