Hello,
I play call of duty 4 and call of duty world at war. When I try to invite people it says 'game session no longer aviable' and when they invite me it says the same message. This happens on both on call of duty 4 and world at war. People say to resart the ps3 but still does not work as i tried 10 times or so. Pealse reply and tell me how to fix this problem and also to give a detailed reply.....
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0
The best way I have found to get around this, is to start a party and play with your friends that way. You get the game session no longer available message for many reasons full room, uneven teams, server full whatever number of countless reasons (free networks are not perfect). You start a party before you choose a map, in the Find a game, Create-a-class, Barracks menu just press the triangle to add friends. Then who ever started the party finds the game and puts your party in the mix with everyone else or your party can play just your party in your own custom games. hope this helps look me up on World At War " Dealtaduck2point0 " |
I looked up your problem and found it's not just us. Here is a quote I found "The best solution is to open/forward ports on your router. COD4 requires TCP ports: 80; 443; 5223 and UDP ports: 3658; 3478; 3074; 3075. This list comes straight from Activision phone support." from fixya.com the blog is about COD 4 you should read the whole blog there is some good info there that might help you out http://www.fixya.com/support/t389000-call_duty_4_online_invite_problem |
Ok so i tried th port stuff, and before i did that i figured out that. if you go to you PS3 main menu, that you get when you first start your ps3 (not the game)

ITS cause of the ppl routers....its gotta be a open router or you might not be able to connect with some people...gotta be done through the computer |
