I hav tried this method repeatedly however it is not working wht happens is tht my iphone does appear on mycomputer and on itunes however when i download music and place it in the library i sync it however it appears updating file on my itunes and no message such as synchornisg on my iphone doesnt appear like the slide which asks one to slide to cancel doesnt appear on the phone, and when i check my phone the file does not appear in it.

My iphone was also fine before i updated the 3.0 version...and i have been reserching in the internet that there are others with some issues and they also think it is becasue of the new version....
my games and applications doesnt work and there is no service in my iphone. im guessing it is becasue of the 3.0 version.
