Hello,
I have a compac vista computer that has lost wireless connection thru my netgear router. My cable modem and router are in one room with my xp computer and my sons is in another room with the netgear adapter card which has lost connection what could be wrong. I took the card out and reinserted thinking it got loose but still didn't connect) When i go to internet connection on his computer it is disabled i can't figure out why. My brother has a laptop and is recieving the wireless connection so i know its something in his computer. This happened 2x before and Geek Squad had fixed it but i want to fix it myself, everytime they come its 150.00.

Dear Sir,

If you noticed that the network connection is disabled you will have to:

1. change the network adapter (LAN CARD) Or may be its a driver problem, install again

2. Verify the LAN cables! if they are faulty, please replace them

Good luck
