Desktop freeze

Hello,

So heres the problem, my computer was freezing on my desktop whenever I started it up so I went into safe mode and MSconfig and disabled startups and services. So now I can run my computer normally except whenever I try to open up any type of game it will freeze. Wondering what type of problem it is and how I can fix it. Thank you!


EDIT: Alright I guess its just every Steam game I have. Also reinstalling Steam didn't work.

Configuration: Windows Vista
Firefox 3.0.11

Hi,

this may be a RAM problem.

unplug the computer from the mains, open the casing, remove the RAM and clean the pins.

then put it back firmly.

Thanks for the info onea97 but sadly it didn't fix anything :(. Still can't play most of my games.
