Bsnl type2 wifi connecivity

Hello,
i hav a bsnl type 2 modem with wify
i can use the net on my pc..now i need to use it via wify on my laptop
i hav tried doin it..but all tht happens is my laptop gets connected with the modem
but not with the internet...
plz help me with a solution from the very basics of connecting it via wify...:-)

Dear Sir,

You will have to setup a connection to be able to access the internet,

This is the same connection you have on your pc, when normally you start your computer

You dial the connection,

This also should be done on your laptop!
