Hello,
I have a Toshiba Notebook 4.0 with intel core, ram 2.00GB, 32 bit operating system, with 250GB hard drive. I have a TV LCD monitor. Rather than buying a new TV to set up in my son's room, I would like to know how I can set up Laptop with VGA cable and connect to the LCD TV? I am using Windows Vista Business 2007. Do I have a TV tuner built in? Or do I need to purchase one. Please assist....thanks, Val, Melbourne, Australia

Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

Hi,

if you want to access your local TV channels, you will need to buy a TV Tuner and connect it to the laptop.

you may connect the laptop to the screen by the use of a VGA cable (it is the blue connection on your laptop).

or you may use an S-Video cable as well (yellow connection).

you will find CRT/LCD written on the F keys, once connected to the screen hold Fn and then press the CRT/LCD key.
