Hello,
I'm currently trying to catch the legendary birds, Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres. When you actually find them....they flee.....I know the move mean look to make them stay....so I was wondering, about how many turns does it take for a timer ball (a ball that improves its catch rate every turn) to be able to catch these pokemon?

(I also have Ultra, great, poke, dusk, heal, luxury, mnest, repeat, and quick balls)
(I used my master ball......=(

Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

To reply to your timer ball question every 10 turns increses the chance by 1 untill 40 so thay are good IF YOU WANT THEM TO DO STRUGGLE with hurts them so i would recommend using ultra balls

ALWAYS Hunt at night with dusk balls, they have the highest catch rate next to master balls. LVL 60 GENGAR with mean look, hypnosis, dream eater an shadow ball, hunting at night using the marking map i caught all three in one night. If they run while sleeping use a quick ball the next time you see them it worked on MESPRIT.

Here's a easy and simple catch rate calculator I made in Excel for myself.
Decided to share it, give it a try!
