WinXP Home Install CD

Hello,

I have a computer that came installed with WinXP Home. I want to fomrat the HD and reinstall WinXPHome. I have a Microsoft Certificate of Authenticity and Product Key but no CD. How do I get an install CD or an install file to reinstall WinXP using my Product Key?

Either go to your vendor & ask them to do it for you or borrow a winxp CD from anyone, install it & write down your CD key, I did this & it worked

Your computer might have came from pc world and they do not give discs out, But they store the entire running program files of winxp home on the hard drive.
So if you want either copy these files to disc or when you format the hard drive only format part and leave win xp home.
